Charles E. Lindblom, Sterling Professor Emeritus of Economics and Political Science, is a past President of the American Political Science Association and a past President of the Association for Comparative Economic Studies. His publications include The Policy-Making Process; The Intelligence of Democracy; Unions and Capitalism; Politics, Economics and Welfare (with R. A. Dahl); A Strategy of Decision (with D.
