Sending HR Broadcast Email Messages

The administrative and financial communications group has established a new process for developing and distributing broadcast messages to administrative and financial audiences. Its purpose is to streamline email traffic, provide a consistent voice, and make it easy for our readers to take desired action.

HR Broadcast Email Message Process

Please work through your designated HR communication liaison to develop, edit, vet, gain approval and publish* your broadcast email messages. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Complete the Message Request Form before you develop a draft of your message. Note: your message may not be distributed without its completion.
  2. Create a draft of your message.
  3. Forward the Message Request Form and a draft of your message to your HR communication liaison.

Although HR follows its own messaging process, we will use the same message request form as other units in Finance and Administration. Read a description of the HR message process flow.
